Module 2 - Group Activity

We are going to switch gears from coding for a moment and put the focus on "web design".  Chapter 4 in your textbook is all about visual elements and graphics so now is a great time to take a look at some design elements, the purpose of a website, and its audience.

After completing this activity, you should be able to:

• Work in a group environment to collectively assemble a one-page summary discusses the purpose of a website chosen by the group
• Identify and explain the intended audience for the website
• Discuss and explain whether the website effectively reaches its intended audience
• List and explain the colors and/or graphics that are used on the homepage of the website, background, backgrounds of page sections, text, logo, navigation buttons, etc.
• Explain how the use of color and graphics enhance the website

I have included each group member’s email address in the event that you want to use your external email and not Google Hangouts, etc.), email, in person on campus, set up a Google Docs document, etc. – whatever way works best with you and your group members.
